Reading, searching and your own agent over MCP cost nothing. When Pith's AI works for you — summarising a saved article, writing a wiki page, answering a question, producing audio — you pay a few cents from a prepaid credit. A save with AI enrichment costs 2 ct; without AI — text and search, but no summary or wiki — it is free, and you can process it later. PDFs are read by text recognition at 1 ct per page, with or without AI. No seats. The €4 comes from the example calculation below.

Assumptions: each saved bookmark costs 6 ct on average — AI enrichment 2 ct, plus on average 0.6 wiki pages written by Pith (3 ct) and 0.5 questions to the wiki (1 ct). Audio means one weekly roundup (7 days, 52 a year) at 69 ct with the standard voice or €1.79 with the premium voice. The €12 yearly free credit (€1 a month) is deducted.

You pay when Pith's AI works for you — and it does on every save: each saved article is enriched and summarised, which costs 2 ct.
What does the AI cost?
A save with AI enrichment (summary, entities, collection hint) is 2 ct, recognising a PDF or image page 1 ct, a wiki page written or updated by Pith 5 ct, a question to the wiki with sources 2 ct. The daily report is 19 ct per day on which a report is produced. A roundup audio is 49 ct (3–5 days) or 69 ct (7–14 days), and €1.29 or €1.79 with the premium voice. A briefing audio from your bookmarks is 69 ct.
Why is there no subscription?
Because you shouldn't rent access to your own knowledge. Your reading memory stays free; you pay for the AI work done on it, in small amounts from a prepaid credit. There is nothing to cancel.
How does the credit work?
You get €1 free credit every month. Top up via Stripe with €10, €20 or €50 — €50 credits €55.
What happens if a job fails?
It costs nothing. Failed jobs are never charged.
Does my own AI agent cost anything?
No. Reading over MCP and writing wiki pages over MCP are free — your agent does the thinking with its own tokens; Pith stores and cites.
Is background work billed?
No. Feed scoring, deduplication and trends are part of the daily report or of the AI enrichment and are never billed separately.
Where is my data stored?
Frankfurt, Hetzner. EU-only data residency. Per-workspace Postgres database. Export anytime as SQL or markdown.
